These hot products, featured at JPMA, promise to make moms' lives easier, and babies' lives more comfortable.

Germ Warfare!
Plenty of new products are aimed at protecting baby from germs in shops and restaurants. Neat Solutions (the Shopper Topper) and Babe Ease (the Disposable Clean Shopper) both have shopping-cart liners you can use and then toss. You can also buy more elaborate, toy-covered ones that you reuse, such as Infantino's Go Cart.

Car Seats
The car seats coming out this fall will bring relief to a lot of frustrated parents. For starters, if your car has the LATCH system, you're probably familiar with the difficulty of finding the bars buried behind the backseats. New bar-finders on car seats from Chicco and Compass will simplify things.

With Evenflo's new car seats (the Triumph DLX is shown at left), harnesses are easier to tighten and infant body pillows, hip rolls, head supports, and harness covers ensure the most snug and comfy fit.

Diaper Bags
The number of diaper bags on the market is staggering, but more keep coming out. New high-end ones include Duo's Skip Hop (right), made to fit over the back of a stroller; the Mommy's Helper McKenzie Sling, which you wear over one shoulder; and diaper bags that look like classy little purses from Amy Michelle.

Strollers
Many of the new 2005 strollers from companies such as Kolcraft, Chicco, and Evenflo will, when folded, stand upright for easy storage. No more leaning them against a wall or laying them across the floor.

Other strollers are getting futuristic -- Stokke's Xplory sits the child as high as an adult's chest. The Jeep Rubicon, (right) is a funky, triangular stroller with big inflatable wheels on the back.

Breastfeeding Help
Seven out of 10 moms give breastfeeding a try, and more companies are coming out with products to help them stick with it. For moms who have skin troubles in the beginning, there are lanolin-treated nursing pads -- disposable ones from.

The First Years and reusable ones from Medela. Gerber has pads that can be cooled (to relieve engorgement) or heated (to relieve soreness). Boppy has a special nursing pillow that fits moms of every size and can be used in a rocking chair.
