Winter Interest
Although they go by different
names, rhododendrons and azaleas share the genus Rhododendron.
Although they share many characteristics, the two groups can
be recognized by the form their flowers take. Azaleas have funnel
shaped blossoms, while rhododendrons have trumpet-shaped flowers.
In both cases, the brilliance and quantity of flowers make for
a spectacular spring display.
