Flowers
The sunny workhorse of the garden,
marigolds give a lot of flower power for not much work or money.
They're among the easiest of flowers to start from seed indoors
or out, but are also readily available as nursery seedlings.
Available in oranges, creams,
reds, and yellows, these warm-season annuals will bloom from
spring through frost as long as you deadhead them regularly.
Plant in groups of 10, 15, 20
or more for best effect. Choose varieties carefully -- they can
vary in height from just 6 inches for some dwarfs to up to 3
feet for the African types.
