BLT Appetizer Spread

1 cup mayonnaise
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
8 slices bacon, cooked, crumbled
1 large tomato, seeded and chopped
4 medium green onions, chopped
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
Assorted crackers
  1. Combine mayonnaise, cream cheese and pepper in small mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth (1 to 2 minutes).
  2. Spread mayonnaise/cream cheese mixture onto bottom of 9-inch round glass serving dish; top with lettuce, bacon, tomatoes, green onions and cheese. Serve with crackers.

Makes 20 servings.
