2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup heavy or whipping cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Centers: Whole candied cherries, toasted whole almonds, pecan or walnut halves
Coating: Powdered sugar, sweetened flaked coconut or finely chopped nuts
  1. In large bowl, beat butter until creamy.
  2. Combine powdered sugar and cocoa and add to butter mixture alternately with heavy cream and vanilla, blending well. Refrigerate until firm.
