Double Peanut Clusters

1 (10-ounce) package peanut butter chips
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
2 cups dry roasted salted peanuts
  1. Line baking sheet with wax paper.
  2. In large microwave-safe bowl, place peanut butter chips and shortening icrowave at HIGH (100%) 1 1/2 minutes; stir until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. If necessary, microwave an additional 30 seconds until chips are melted when stirred.
  3. Stir in peanuts.
  4. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet. Cool until set. Store in a cool, dry place.

Makes about 2 1/2 dozen clusters.

Cook's Tip: Drop rounded teaspoonfuls into small candy paper cups.
