Peanutty Milk Chocolate Clusters

1 (12-ounce) milk chocolate chips
2 teaspoons vegetable shortening
2 cups dry roasted peanuts
  1. Place chocolate chips and shortening in medium microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave at HIGH an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring each time, just until chips are melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. Stir in peanuts.
  3. Spoon heaping teaspoons of peanut mixture into 1-inch paper candy cups or paper cupcake cups
  4. Refrigerate until firm. Store tightly covered in cool place.

Makes about 2 1/2 dozen candies.
