A modest sodium, low potassium recipe.

Hot N' Spicy Dipping Sauce

4 teaspoons (20mL) Mrs. Dash® Original Blend
2 cups (480mL) unsweetened pineapple juice
3/4 cup (180mL) tomato catsup
3/4 cup (180mL) firmly packed brown sugar
6 tablespoons (90mL) cider vinegar
6 tablespoons (90mL) dry sherry
3 tablespoons (45mL) cornstarch
1/2 teaspoons (2.5mL) ground ginger
  1. Combine all ingredients in 1-quart (960mL) saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil; stir constantly until thickened, about 10 minutes.
  3. Cool slightly before serving.

Makes 12 servings; Serving size: 3.1 ounces (87.3g).
