Lickity Split Frozen Fruit 'N Cream Pie
- 1-1/2 cups fat-free milk
1 (3.50-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding and pie filling mix
1 (8-ounce) container non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup sliced bananas (about 2 medium)
Ice cream topping and additional sliced fresh strawberries (optional garnish)- E-Z Oat Crust (recipe follows)
- Prepare E-Z Oat Crust as recipe directs; cool completely.
- In large bowl, blend milk and pudding mix with wire whisk until smooth; let stand about 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Gently stir in whipped topping and strawberries. Arrange banana slices evenly over bottom of cooled crust; spread filling over bananas.
- Freeze until firm 6 hours or overnight. Let stand at room temperature about 30 minutes before serving.
- Top with ice cream topping and additional sliced strawberries, if desired.
Makes 10 servings.
E-Z Oat Crust:
- 1 cup Quaker® Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
8 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
- Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well.
- Press mixture evenly onto bottom and on sides of prepared pie plate.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Fill baked pie crust with desired filling.
Makes one 9-inch crust.
