So easy, yet incredibly delicious! Who knew?! Cooking with Coca Cola is a common practice in southern kitchens of the U. S.

Coca Cola Barbecued Chicken

1 whole fryer chicken, cut into serving pieces and patted dry
1 (12-ounce) can Coca Cola (not diet)
2 cups ketchup
  1. Preheat oven to 350*F (175*C).
  2. Mix the cola and ketchup in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish. Add the chicken pieces, turning to coat well. Bake skin side down for 30 minutes. Turn chicken and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Allow to stand for 10 minutes and serve!

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
