Onion Cranberry Chicken Bake

1 whole chicken, cut into serving pieces
1 (16-ounce) can smooth cranberry sauce
1 (8-ounce) bottle of French dressing
1 (1-ounce) package dry onion soup mix
Hot cooked long-grain rice
  1. Preheat the oven to 350*F (175*C).
  2. Place chicken into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients into a sauce pan, heat over low heat until boiling; remove from hear and pour over chicken.
  4. Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until done, spooning sauce over every 15 minutes. Serve with cooked rice.

Serves 4 to 6.
