The whole family will enjoy these tasty tacos. The use of chicken is lower in fat than the traditional recipe with chopped beef so dieters can join in the fun.

Ortega Chicken Tacos

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound fresh boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into bite-size pieces
3/4 cup water
1 package ORTEGA® Taco Seasoning Mix
1 (4.5-ounce) package ORTEGA® Taco Shells
Toppings: shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, ORTEGA® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce (optional)
  1. HEAT vegetable oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Stir in water and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
  2. FILL warmed taco shells with chicken mixture. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and taco sauce.
