Honeysuckle White® Turkey breast marinated in a basil pesto and served with pesto.

Pesto Marinated Turkey Breast

Marinade:
1 cup dry white wine
15 cloves garlic
3 cups fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
8 pound Honeysuckle White® Turkey Breast
  1. Mix together marinade ingredients (wine, garlic, basil and pepper)in food processor or blender. Set aside half of marinade. Place turkey breast in half of marinade and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Take turkey out of marinade. (Do not use marinade for basting.) Bake at 450° F for 15 minutes. Lower temperature to 325° F and bake for 3 hours, or until done when tested with a meat thermometer. (170° F internal temp.)
  3. Remove turkey breast and let it rest 10 minutes before slicing.
  4. Mix 1/2 cup parmesan cheese with remaining marinade and serve with turkey.
