A microwave recipe.
Turkey Rolls Italian-Style
- Vegetable cooking spray
1 pound turkey, sliced
Wax paper
1/8 teaspoon Italian seasoning
4 ounces Monterey Jack cheese
1 (14 1/2 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- Spray 6 custard cups with vegetable cooking spray. Place sliced turkey on wax paper and sprinkle Italian seasoning on top. Cut Monterey Jack cheese into sticks. Place the cheese on the turkey slices and roll up like a jelly roll to encase the cheese.
- Divide part of spaghetti sauce in the custard cups. Place a turkey roll in each cup; topping with the remaining spaghetti sauce.
- In the center of a microwave oven arrange the custard cups in a circle. Cover each with a sheet of wax paper; microwave on high for 13 to 15 minutes, turning every 5 minutes or until done. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving. Unmold onto serving plates.
Makes 6 servings.
