Can I use all-purpose flour
in place of cake flour?
Q: Can I use all purpose flour when a cookie recipe
calls for cake flour? Thank you. Ricki
A: Hi Ricki, Yes, in a pinch you can use all-purpose
flour in place of cake flour. For every 1 cup of cake flour called
for in a recipe, use 2 tablespoons less of all-purpose flour
per cup.
