My no-bake cookies don't harden.
Q: I love no bake cookies, but mine do not harden
up like they are supposed to. What would I be doing wrong?
A: You are not alone, no-bake cookies can be difficult
to make except perhaps the person who has had a lot of experience
at it. If they are under-cooked, they will not harden resulting
in a gooey mess, and if they are over-cooked they harden into
a dry crumbly mess. The fact is, the most occurring reason for
failure in making these "stove-top cooked" cookies
is timing, either it's too long or too short. With these cookies
it truly is down to the second...a little too short or a little
too long and you'll have problems almost every time.
Here is my recipe for No-Bake
Chocolate Cookies, which also includes some helpful tips.
