QUESTION:
How do I remove the embedded bread machine blade?
I have a cheap bread machine, the dough blade is attached to the inside of the mix bowl, which also means when the bread is baked, the blade is embedded inside my bread. It's a real wrestling match to behold. Any suggestions of how to separate the two? how to extract my loaf without brutalizing that poor pup of a loaf? Thanks, Corinne.
ANSWER:
My first suggestion is preventative by removing the blade(s) after the second kneading and you won't have to deal with the problem. I do this with my own bread machine, and it works very well. Or, if the blade is left in, you can carefully remove it, while the loaf is still hot, by grasping it with a pair of metal tongs and gently pulling the blade out.
