This scrumptious sandwich, filled with ingredients that were simply made for each other, is "all wrapped up" and ready to go on a picnic! ...And with sliced, makes a wonderful appetizer, too!
Beef Wrapped Lavosh
- 4-ounces soft cream cheese
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish, drained
2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup black olives, sliced
8-ounces roast beef, thinly sliced
8 slices provolone cheese
1 cup spinach or lettuce leaves
6 thin slices tomato
1 loaf Lavosh (Armenian flat bread)
- Blend cream cheese, mayonnaise and horseradish until smooth. Fold in green onions and black olives.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on the Lavosh bread. Add roast beef, provolone cheese, spinach, and tomato.
- Fold in half to serve. For appetizers, roll and slice crosswise.
Serves 4.
