This is also great as a topping for ice cream or cake!

Butterscotch Dip

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup butterscotch flavored chips
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons white vinegar

Apple wedges for accompaniment
  1. In heavy saucepan, over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, butterscotch chips and salt. Cook and stir until melted.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in vinegar.
  3. Serve warm with apples. Store dip covered in refrigerator.

Makes about 2 cups.

Microwave Method: In 1-quart glass measure, combine sweetened condensed milk, butterscotch chips and salt. Microwave on HIGH (100% power) 3 or 3 1/2 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in vinegar.
