It can't get much easier than this - mix
prepared pesto with California pistachios and cream cheese. A
simple appetizer that will tantalize the taste buds of your guests.
Pesto Pistachio Cheese
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup thawed frozen pesto sauce
1/2 cup natural California pistachios, chopped
Fresh basil sprigs OR parsley
Diced radish, red bell pepper OR tomato
French bread baguettes, sliced
- Beat cheese with pesto sauce and 1/4 cup
pistachios. Spoon into scooped plate and spread out onto flat
layer. Sprinkle remaining pistachios in ring on top. Garnish
with basil and radish. Serve with sliced French bread.
Makes 8 appetizer servings.
