Choco-Peanut Nutter Butter Bars

1 (19.9-ounce) package fudge brownie mix
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup butter OR margarine, softened
1 large egg
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanuts, chopped
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  1. Combine fudge brownie mix, water, softened butter, and egg; beating until just mixed. Spread the batter into a greased 9-inch baking pan.
  2. Heat creamy peanut butter and drop by teaspoonfuls onto the batter. Swirl with light corn syrup. Sprinkle chopped peanuts and semisweet chocolate chips on top.
  3. Bake at 350*F for 20 to 25 minutes. Swirl the melted topping together then set on a wire rack to cool.

Makes 18 bars.
