If you love the taste of chocolate and coconut together, then these bars are just the ticket to satisfy a craving.

Chocolate-Coconut Mounds Bars

First Layer:

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup melted butter

Second Layer:

2 2/3 cups flaked coconut
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
 
Third Layer:
1 (12-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350*F (175*C)
  2. For First Layer: Mix above ingredients together and press into a 9 x 13 x2-inch baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
  3. For Second Layer: Combine the coconut and milk. Spread over baked crust and return to oven to bake another 15 minutes.
  4. For Third Layer: Remove from oven and sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Allow chips to "melt" and then spread evenly over all. Cool and cut into bars.

Makes 24 servings.
