This made-at-home version of the popular granola bar will be a welcome addition to your snack repertoire as well as your budget.

Easy Granola Bars

1 cup miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup butter OR margarine
2 cups lowfat granola
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  1. Place marshmallows and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute or until marshmallows have melted.
  2. Add granola, raisins and nuts; stir to coat well.
  3. Press into a 9-inch square baking pan that has been lightly coated with cooking oil spray.
  4. Refrigerate for half an hour or more; cut and serve.

Makes 9 bars.
