Raisin Nut Brownies

Recipe Ingredients:

1 (18.5-ounce) package brownie mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups California raisins
1 cup deluxe mixed nuts, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup vanilla chips, melted
1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease bottom of 13x9x2-inch pan.
  2. Prepare brownies as directed on package with oil, water and eggs. Stir in raisins. Spread in greased pan. Sprinkle nuts on top. Press in lightly.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 28 to 30 minutes Cool completely.
  4. Combine melted vanilla extract chips and oil. Drizzle over cooled brownies. Cut into squares while frosting is still slightly soft.

Makes 24 brownies.
