Trying to cut down on caffeine? Enjoy this hot drink as a morning energizer or as an afternoon pick-me-up.
Orange-Spice Tea
- 2 cups water
- 1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon, broken
- 6 whole cloves
- 2 tea bags
- 1 cup Florida orange juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
- In a medium saucepan combine water, cinnamon, and cloves. Bring to boiling; remove from heat. Add tea bags and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags.
- Stir in the orange juice and brown sugar. Heat through. To serve, pour mixture through a wire strainer into mugs.
Makes 4 servings.
