Banana Walnut Bread
A recipe for Banana Walnut Bread prepared with a bread machine.
Recipe Ingredients:
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup banana, mashed
1 large egg
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 cups white bread flour
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted*
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
Cooking Directions:
- Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
- Select Basic bread cycle and start machine.
Makes 1 (1 1/2 pound) loaf.
*To toast walnuts, place in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15 to 20 minutes or until walnuts are lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Cool.
