Mango Bread
A moist and sweet yeast bread made with fresh mango. A recipe for bread machines.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup puréed mango (about 1 large ripe mango)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons apple pie spice or ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tablespoons vital wheat gluten
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups bread flour
1 (.25-ounce) packet active dry yeast or 2 1/4 teaspoons
Cooking Directions:
- Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
- Select Basic bread cycle, and start machine.
Makes 1 (1 1/2 pound) loaf.
