Mascarpone Icing

Rich and creamy, mascarpone is an Italian triple-cream cheese made from crème fraîche. Use this sophisticated cream cheese icing on your favorite cakes and cupcakes.

Recipe Ingredients:

2/3 cup whipping cream
1/3 cup mascarpone cheese
2 tablespoons powdered sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cooking Directions:

1. In a medium bowl, beat together cream, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until fluffy and smooth.

Makes about 1 1/2 cups whipped.
