A delicious twist on a favorite dessert!

Moist and Chewy Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Cake:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
3 (1-ounce) packets NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Choco Bake Unsweetened Chocolate Flavor
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 cup milk

Rich Chocolate Frosting:
3 cups to 3 1/4 sifted powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 (1-ounce) packets NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Choco Bake Unsweetened Chocolate Flavor
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
  1. For Cake: Beat sugar, butter, Choco Bake and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl for 4 minutes. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; beat into sugar mixture alternately with milk.
  2. Spread into two well-greased 9-inch round baking pans or one 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  3. Bake in preheated 350° F oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan(s) for 15 minutes; invert onto wire rack(s) to cool completely.
  4. Frost with Rich Chocolate Frosting.
  5. For Rich Chocolate Frosting: Beat sugar, milk, butter, Choco Bake, vanilla extract and salt in small mixer bowl until smooth and creamy.
