Recipe submitted by Sandra Rick from Amite, LA.

Sandra's Chocolate Cake

1 (18.25-ounce) package devils food cake mix
1 (8-ounce) container sour cream (1 cup)
4 large eggs
1 (3.9-ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with vegetable cooking spray.
  2. Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 3 to 4 minuutes. Stir in chocolate chips (batter will be thick). Spread in prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 35 minutes or until edges begin to pull away from sides and cake springs back with lightly touched (cake will look undercooked). Cool on a wire rack.

Makes 12 servings.
