These minty treats are a cross between a cookie and a candy. They make a delicate end to a heavy meal or fit beautifully on a tea table of sweets.

Creme de Menthe Balls

1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
2 tablespoons white corn syrup
1/3 cup white creme de menthe
Additional sifted powdered sugar for rolling
  1. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
  2. Form into 1-inch balls; roll in additional powdered sugar and place on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Cover with waxed paper and chill overnight. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

Makes 4 dozen.
