Crispy Peanut Butter Balls
A favorite chocolate-covered peanut butter treat just got crispier.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups chunky peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 cups crispy rice cereal
Aluminum foil
Cooking Directions:
- In a saucepan combine light corn syrup, brown sugar and sugar. Cook exactly 2 minutes over high heat.
- Remove from the heat; stir in chunky peanut butter and vanilla. Pour the mixture over puffed rice cereal in a large mixing bowl. Stir gently to coat evenly.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto a large sheet of aluminum foil and form into 1-inch balls.
Makes 2 dozen candy balls.
