Deep Dish Cheese Fudge
That's right, were talking cheese fudge here! Yeah, it's cheesy—and it's creamy. And, surprisingly good!
Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 pound (2 sticks; 1 cup) butter
1/2 pound (2 cups) Wisconsin Pasteurized Processed cheese
2 pounds powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Cooking Directions:
- Melt the butter and cheese together in a big bowl in the microwave (or melt in a pan over low heat on the stove).
- Add sugar, cocoa and vanilla to melted mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon or work with your hands until all the ingredients are well mixed.
- Pat into a 9-inch pan. Sprinkle the chips and nuts over top. Pat lightly into fudge. Chill until firmly set.
- Cut into small squares to serve.
Makes 72 (1-inch) squares.
