Peaches and cream...never was there a pair
so meant for each other!
Peach Ice Cream
- 3 cups peeled, mashed fresh peaches
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 5 cups milk
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 (14-ounce) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons vanilla extract
- Combine peaches and 3/4 cup sugar in a
large bowl; mixing well. Add milk and remaining ingredients and
mix well.
- Pour peach mixture into freezer container
of a 5-quart, hand-turned or electric freezer. Freeze according
to manufacturer's instructions.
- Pack, freezer with additional ice and
salt, and let stand 1 hour before serving.
Makes 1 gallon.
