White Dipped Fruit

1 (6-ounce) box NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Baking Bars, broken into pieces
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
24 bite size pieces fresh fruit (whole strawberries, orange, kiwi, banana, rinsed and patted dry)
  1. Line baking sheet with waxed paper.
  2. Microwave baking bars and vegetable shortening in medium, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10 to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth; cool slightly.
  3. Dip fruit about halfway into melted baking bars; shake off excess. Place on prepared baking sheet; refrigerate until set.

Makes 24 pieces.

Cooking Tip: Pretzels, nuts, dried fruit, pound cake or cookies can also be used.
