A tangy mixture of pineapple juice and prepared barbecue sauce with a hint of soy sauce and ginger, that will add flavor appeal to grilled chicken or pork.
Pineapple-Orange Sauce
- 3/4 cup prepared barbecue sauce
6 tablespoons pineapple juice concentrate*
1/4 cup Equal® Spoonful**
3 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons peeled grated ginger root
- Combine all ingredients in small mixing bowl. Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour before using to allow flavors to blend.
- Brush on chicken or pork during last 10 minutes of grilling. Serve grilled meat with additional sauce spooned over each portion, if desired. Refrigerate any unused sauce.
Makes 10 servings.
* Make remainder of concentrate into pineapple juice
