Beef Skillet Rancho

1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups cooked rice
1 (10-3/4-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped green chiles
1/2 cup beef broth or water
1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed corn chips
  1. Cook beef, onion and garlic in large skillet over medium heat until lightly browned.
  2. Stir in rice, soup, chiles and broth; heat thoroughly.
  3. Stir in cheese and top with corn chips just before serving.

Makes 6 servings.
