Chili Franks and Rice

1 cup chopped onion
1 (12-ounce) package frankfurters, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 (16-ounce) can chili without beans
1 (15-ounce) can kidney or pinto beans
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
5 to 6 drops hot pepper sauce
1/3 cup sour cream
3 cups hot cooked rice
  1. Combine onion and frankfurters in 10-inch skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Add chili, beans, chili powder, salt, mustard and pepper sauce. Cook, covered, 5 minutes longer or until bubbly hot. Stir in sour cream.
  3. Serve over beds of fluffy rice.

Makes 6 servings.
