Pork El Dorado

No recipe image available.An easy and tasty South-of-the-Border ground pork and chile filling for burritos, tacos and tamales.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 pound ground pork
1 (4-ounce) can diced green chiles
1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
3/4 cup water
Flour tortillas for accompaniment
Sour cream for accompaniment
Shredded lettuce for accompaniment

Cooking Directions:

  1. In a skillet, brown ground pork until cooked through. Drain. Stir in chiles, taco seasoning mix, and water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer, uncovered, for 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Serve in flour tortillas with sour cream and shredded lettuce, or as desired.

Makes 4 servings.
