1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided use
1 large egg, beaten
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
8 ounces spaghetti pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cups (24 ounces) tomato sauce
- In a large bowl, combine beef, bread crumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix gently until thoroughly combined. Form into 16 meatballs; set aside.
- Cook pasta according to package directions while making the sauce.
