Break away from traditional lasagna with tomato sauce and indulge in the rich creaminess of Alfredo sauce. Serve with Caesar salad and warm garlic bread right from the oven.

Sausage Alfredo Lasagna

1 (15-ounce) package BUITONI® Family Size Alfredo Sauce
1 pound bulk sausage, cooked and drained
1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
12 ounces lasagna noodles, prepared according to package directions
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 large egg, slightly beaten
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 (16-ounce) container cottage cheese
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup freshly grated Romano cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine sauce, sausage and pepper in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, combine cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, Romano chese and egg.
  3. Layer 1/3 of sausage mixture in prepared baking dish. Top with 1/3 of noodles and 1/3 of cheese mixture. Repeat layers twice. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and breadcrumbs; cover.
