Coconut Honey Bars
Easy, mix-in-pan coconut honey bars, studded with raisins and your choice of peanut butter or semisweet chocolate chips.
Recipe Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
1 1/3 cups MOUNDS Sweetened Coconut Flakes
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup REESE'S Peanut Butter Chips or HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Cooking Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Grease 8-inch square baking pan.
- In large saucepan, melt butter; remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar, honey and vanilla.
- Add remaining ingredients; stir until blended. Press mixture into prepared pan.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
Makes about 24 bars.
