Holiday Festive Nog Mold

1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 (6-ounce) package lemon gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 (3.25-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  1. In a large bowl, stir boiling water and gelatin until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Cool 30 minutes at room temperature.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat milk and pudding mix with wire whisk for 30 seconds. Immediately stir into cooled gelatin until well blended. Stir in vanilla extract and nutmeg. Refrigerate about 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  3. Gently stir in whipped cream with wire whisk until well blended. Pour into a greased 5-cup mold.
  4. Refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours. Unmold. Garnish as desired.

Makes 10 servings.
