Popcorn Balls
These easy, fruit-flavored popcorn balls are fun to make, and even more fun to eat!
Recipe Ingredients:
12 cups popped popcorn (remove unpopped kernels)
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 (4-serving size) package fruit flavored gelatin, any flavor
Cooking Directions:
- Place popcorn in a greased large bowl.
- In a saucepan, mix together the syrup and sugar and bring to boil. Remove from heat. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved.
- Pour over popcorn; mix well. Cool about 5 minutes. Shape into balls, about 3 inches in diameter. Cool.
- Wrap individually in plastic or cellophane wrap, as desired.
Makes about 18 popcorn balls.
