The flavor in this citrus punch is reminiscent of pumpkin pie.

Thanksgiving Spiced Punch

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
5 (3 to 4-inch) cinnamon sticks
30 whole cloves
4 (12-ounce) cans frozen orange juice concentrate, plus 4 cans cold water
2 (32-ounce) bottles apple cider, chilled
  1. Combine sugar, water, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a small saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature and then refrigerate until chilled.
  2. Pour the spiced syrup through a strainer into large punch bowl. Add the orange juice concentrate, water and apple cider. Stir to blend well and serve.

Makes about 28 (4-ounce) servings.
