White Ghost Cake

White Ghost CakeWhite frosting swirled on to look like ghostly capes, and dollops of whipped topping for ghosts, makes for a hauntingly easy Halloween cake.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 (2-layer) package white cake mix
2 cans white frosting
1 container frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
1 tube black icing

Cooking Directions:

  1. Bake cake as directed on package for 8-inch round layer cake.
  2. Generously frost and fill cake, swirling the sides to look like ghostly capes, as in photo.
  3. Dollop on generous swirls of whipped topping to form ghost bodies, then add dots of black icing to serve as curious eyes.

Makes 12 servings.

Tip: Add black and orange sprinkles or colored sugar for even more of a Halloween touch to this ghastly ghost cake.
