Whole Wheat Tortellini "Caprese"
Whole wheat cheese tortellini served with a 'Caprese-style' sauce of fresh tomatoes, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 (9-ounce) package BUITONI Refrigerated Whole Wheat Three Cheese Tortellini
3/4 cup diced yellow tomatoes
3/4 cup diced red tomatoes
1/2 cup diced fresh mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup sliced fresh basil
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Cooking Directions:
- Prepare pasta according to package directions.
- Toss pasta with tomatoes, cheese, basil, oil, salt and ground black pepper in large bowl; serve immediately.
