Fresh Nectarine
Tart
1 (8-ounce) package cream
cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 (9-inch) tart or pastry shell, baked
3 fresh nectarines, thinly sliced
1/4 cup peach preserves, sieved
- Beat cream cheese and
sour cream in small mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add sugar
and vanilla; beat until well blended. Stir in nuts.
- Spread filling over pie
shell; arrange nectarine slices on top, overlapping slices to
form concentric circles.
- Heat preserves in small
saucepan over low heat; brush over nectarines. Chill until served.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
