Your guests will love this festive, pink
fruit salad mold made with crushed pineapple, cherry gelatin,
cottage cheese and whipped cream.
Cheery Cherry Cheese
Salad
- 2 1/2 cups crushed pineapple with juice
1 (3-ounce) package cherry flavored gelatin
1 (16-ounce) carton small curd creamed cottage cheese
1/2 pint whipping cream, whipped
- In a medium saucepan, heat pineapple and
juice to boiling. Remove from heat and add gelatin; stir until
dissolved. Cool until partially set. Then fold in cottage cheese
and whipped cream. Turn into an oiled 1 quart mold and chill
until firm.
Makes 6 servings.
