Low-Fat Ranch Dressing
Naturally low in fat, buttermilk contributes the familiar tangy flavor to this low-fat version of ranch dressing.
Recipe Ingredients:
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
2 tablespoons nonfat sour cream
1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
2 garlic clove, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Cooking Directions:
- In a blender or food processor blend all ingredients until smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate. Keeps for 1 week.
Makes about 1 cup.
